Uses of FAB 80: Treatment of severe gout, Prevention of gout
attacks.
Febuxostat is used to lower hyperuricemia, high uric acid in the blood in
the blood in patients with gout. FAB 80 is an anti-gout medication also
known as xanthine oxidase inhibitors, widely used to prevent severe
gout attacks or flares. Gout is a persistent disorder that happens due to
the testimony of uric acid crystals in the joint. It is characterised by
serious pain and swelling at the affected joints. FAB 80 tablets
prevent the sudden attacks of pain affected by severe gout and
reduce pain, swelling and inflammation.
FAB 80 Tablets contain Febuxostat which is a medication used
to treat gout. It is a xanthine oxidase inhibitor, it works by
reducing the amount of uric acid in the body. It reduces the
inflammation caused by uric acid crystals in affected joints,
thereby reducing pain, swelling and inflammation.
Direction of use: Swallow it as a whole with water. Do not
chew, crush or break it. Duration as advised by the doctor.
